A Wild Autumn Theme – Denise & Adam at The Lawrence Hotel

Denise & Adam were married at The Lawrence Hotel on 21^st October 2023.

When looking for our ideal wedding venue we wanted somewhere relatively intimate, with lots of character, and somewhere that could provide the whole package (ceremony, reception and rooms) all in one, exclusively to us. We also wanted our venue located close to interesting outdoor photo opportunities.

The Lawrence had everything we wanted. We were able to book rooms for the whole weekend, so our guests could enjoy a couple of nights away. The bridal suite was spacious and beautiful, every room was decorated to the highest spec and with individual design touches. The boutique-style of the hotel suited us and we adored the separate lounges, which meant our guests could relax and enjoy a variety of surroundings.

The outdoor terrace was also a big hit and the little touches, such as the guest kitchen and buffet the night before for our wedding, made the whole experience unique and seamless.

The staff were brilliant from start to finish. Attentive, kind and accommodating to all requests. From calling guests to check their arrival times and to ask if they had any questions the day before, to making adjustments throughout our wedding day, discreetly and without fuss, the whole team were commendable. It’s a cliché phrase, but nothing was too much trouble.

Our bridal flowers and room décor was provided by Marnie Allan. Our theme was wild autumn, with deep reds, rustic oranges and gorgeous greens, combining dried and live blooms – it was beautiful. The look was finished off with candles to bring a soft glow. Kala designed our welcome board and seating plan, which was subtly decorated with autumnal leaves.
