Stylish & Seamless – Jade & Jordan at Mytton Fold Hotel

Jade & Jordan were married on Friday 8th August 2025 at Mytton Fold Hotel.

For our big day we wanted a venue that housed everything in one place, so venue, ceremony and guest rooms all at the same place. Something with a modern feel rather than traditional, and of course a nice outdoor area and grounds for pictures. Additionally, from Jordan; a good selection of beers on draught!

We concentrated our search across the north west, but every venue we liked just happened to be based in the Ribble Valley area. This was to be close enough for all family and friends to travel to, and for the beautiful scenery.

We viewed Mytton Fold by chance – we were in the area and just called in. There we met Paris, who was in between meetings at the time, but she offered to show us around. All the team at Mytton Fold were so welcoming and helpful, we knew instantly it was the one for us. We booked our wedding date in August 2024, giving 12 months to get planning.

Straight away we knew the large open window in the main Abbey Suite, would be a lovely backdrop for the ceremony and photographs. The exterior is beautiful too, with well-kept grounds surrounded by trees and stunning views from the top of the golf course. On our wedding day we were lucky enough to take a golf cart up to the very top of the course, for some stunning last-minute shots over the Ribble Valley countryside, as the sun began to set.

Leading up to our wedding day Paris and the team were exemplary – we had so many questions and all were answered clearly and promptly, which helped to ease the stress of planning. On the day itself they dressed the room perfectly, the evening room change-over was quick and just what we wanted, and throughout the day they would regularly check that everything was OK and ask if we needed anything. They even supplied a room for Jordan and the groomsmen on the morning of our wedding and provided a bucket of Corona beers to help settle the nerves! We couldn’t fault them.

Our colour scheme for the day was sage green and white. We have a very talented auntie who kindly helped us style the room and create a beautiful flower arch in front of the main window, which was a stunning feature.

For couples looking for a modern wedding venue that has everything in one place, then Mytton Fold is the place for you. We loved that after the ceremony you simply shuffle into the large bar room next door or sit in the outdoor space while they dress the room for the evening. It all felt so easy and stress-free. The staff are lovely, incredibly helpful and you can see they have a genuine interest in making sure your special day goes perfectly. Don’t just take it from us though, I can’t tell you how many of our guests said after our wedding how impressed they were with the venue and how well the day went. It was seamless.
