Cosy, friendly and unique – Emily and Samuel at The Lawrence Hotel, Burnley

Emily & Samuel were married on 27th January 2024 at The Lawrence Hotel.

We wanted our wedding venue to be not only local to us but somewhere unique and intimate.

The Lawrence Hotel at Padiham was the perfect choice for us, we loved the quirky interior and cosy atmosphere, and when we visited Michael was on hand to talk us through wedding package options which was much appreciated as we didn’t have an appointment to see him, so his attentiveness was also a big factor in our decision to book.

There are lots of great photo opportunities in and around The Lawrence. We loved the beautifully set up ceremony room, the décor in each room and the terrace.

Kala styled the venue for us (Kie events by Kala). We wanted a classy rustic feel and she absolutely smashed it. We gave Kala a navy blue and blush pink colour scheme and told her to surprise us on the day, which she definitely did.

We can’t thank the staff enough – Michael, AJ, Alison and Josh were always quick to answer any questions and help in any way possible.

We would highly recommend The Lawrence to any other engaged couple. It’s so friendly, cosy and intimate with amazing guest rooms. Lovely food and the staff are faultless. A wonderful venue!
