Stunning photo opportunities inside and out – Rebecca & John at Hobbit Hill

Rebecca & John tied the knot at Hobbit Hill on 15^th August 2024.

We wanted a natural and relaxed feel to our day and somewhere we could have the ceremony and reception in the same place. The added bonus was having somewhere to stay over with our friends and family.

We love the Ribble Valley so centred our search around this area. As soon as we saw Hobbit Hill we fell in love with the stunning views which surround it. The woodland vibes were amazing and I could totally imagine myself getting married there.

When we were shown around, the staff were able to answer all my questions but also weren’t too pushy and didn’t try to sell the place too much.

The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully designed and didn’t actually need a lot of dressing on the day as it already looks amazing. We also loved the addition of the pods for guests – all the pods were so cosy looking and came with everything you would need.

We booked the venue two year in advance. The whole team at Hobbit Hill were amazing. I was probably asking so many questions on the lead up to the wedding, but the staff were always quick to answer everything and were happy to help.

On the day everything ran so smoothly, a few people commented on how if they needed anything the staff were available but also weren’t in the way.

After the wedding the staff cleaned the venue for us and put all our items into our boxes which was such a huge help as we were very tired!

For the venue styling we use a local firm called Sophisticated Events, who created a wonderful woodland, natural feel with greens and whites. We also used Vista & Bloom for our floral décor with the same theme and colours so it would all tie together.

I created the table centre pieces using recycled gin bottles and artificial flowers and all our table names were named after the various gins. Our stationary was provided by another local firm – Charlotte Designs.

Hobbit Hill is the full package, from the venue itself to the beautiful views you cannot fault it! From any angle, whatever the weather it looks amazing. The whole venue can be designed around you and the staff will really look after you on the lead up and on the big day.
