CEREMONY ROOM / FUNCTION SUITE
The hotel features a peaceful and elegant ceremony room with wooden beams, a charming stone fireplace and a glistening chandelier. Here you can exchange your vows in the presence of up to 115 loved ones. Outdoor ceremonies with a celebrant or registrar can also be held by the enchanting sycamore tree out in the estate grounds, or on the patio area which offers a picturesque, countryside backdrop. Take your seats in the fabulous Ballroom where music and laughter fill the air, here you’ll enjoy the speeches, drinks and an unforgettable wedding breakfast. As evening falls on your special day, you’ll dance the night away in this magnificent room with up to 250 guests.
THE CONSERVATORY
When the big day arrives and all your guests are seated, you’ll make your way down to your ceremony through one of the most magical parts of Stirk House – The Conservatory. Filled with natural light shining through sparkling mullion windows, this ethereal space features a spectacular ‘living-wall’ of colour-changing ivy, a unique feature which is a great talking point for guests and one of many unmissable spots for your photographs.
THE ESTATE GROUNDS
The most breathtaking backdrop for your wedding day is here at Stirk House. The estate grounds provide an awe-inspiring setting, with 22 acres of immaculate gardens, an ancient forest and the most extraordinary scenic views. A much-loved feature of the estate grounds is the impressive sycamore tree – illuminated with hundreds of softly glowing fairy lights in the evening, and surrounded by an elegant decking area, the tree is a popular spot for wedding pictures, and it’s easy to see why!
