Our most magical and memorable day – Jasmin & Danny at The River Barn

Jasmin & Danny were married at The River Barn on Sunday 14th June 2024.

We wanted a venue with accommodation, somewhere pretty with plenty of light, an adaptable space and set within beautiful grounds.

We didn’t want our guests to have to travel far so concentrated our venue search to the Lancashire area.

When we went to visit The River Barn it was undergoing building work, but the plans looked so amazing that we decided to book it. We booked two years in advance and by the time our wedding date came around the venue was just as beautiful as we thought it would be.

The venue was spacious and modern and the grounds were stunning, allowing for plenty of photo opportunities. Everything was in the one building and there was space to be with our guests in all room turn arounds. The River Barn also has a beautiful Manor House which we stayed in on the night of our wedding – it was just the perfect venue for us.

Our theme for the day was floral. I wanted something breathtaking and bold, using pastel florals with pampas grass and I wanted flowers everywhere. The team at Above & Beyond captured every detail, it was everything I had envisioned and more. They took my ideas and ran with them and they did not disappoint. They are truly an incredible team, I couldn’t recommend them enough.

All staff at The River Barn were amazing. From our initial show around, through all the planning and throughout our wedding day the staff were exceptional. They really went the extra mile to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were quick to respond to any email or phone enquiries during the planning process and on our big day they were always around so we never worried once.

I would definitely recommend The River Barn to other engaged couples, it’s truly beautiful. It ticked all the boxes for us and planning our wedding with them was fun and stress-free. The staff were so helpful with all the planning and made everything so simple and easygoing. The venue, the manor house and the setting made The River Barn the perfect venue for us – it was the most magical and memorable day!
