Rebecca & Chris were married at Springbank Manor or Saturday 4th April 2026.
When looking for our ideal venue, we focused our search in the Lancashire area, close to where we live, in Blackburn. We wanted a venue that felt homely with everything on-site, a large enough main room for all our guests so we could all be together and accommodation for everyone who needed it. A bar in the main function room was also a must!
We booked Springbank Manor around 20 months in advance. The staff there are incredible. From the get-go, Blake, the wedding co-ordinator, was on hand with everything, he was so welcoming and made us feel at ease. We also met the owner, Michael, who had recently taken over the venue. He explained all the improvement he had planned for the venue and the timescales, showed us pictures of how the venue would look and also invited us over to their sister venue, The Lawrence, to look at the décor there, as he was hoping to create a similar vibe at Springbank Manor.
We trusted Michael and Blake enough to make sure all the work would be completed in time, and it was. The size and layout of Springbank Manor was perfect for us – it had everything we were looking for.
Springbank Manor has some lovely photo opportunities. I loved the wide doorway at the front of the building and knew it would make a great night-time shot – definitely my favourite photo. The grounds are surrounded by greenery and the new patio area at the back is a great place for relaxing. Inside the venue there are also lots of original features and a stunning chandelier on the stairs.
Antha Event Hire styled our venue and I added a few small touches. We wanted something classy and elegant and that would be timeless in our photos. With the renovations in the main function room and the new flooring, the white décor we picked looked absolutely stunning. We went for beige and greens within our wedding party so we wanted the décor to make a statement, but not look too much. It was absolutely stunning and went so well in the room.
Honestly, we cannot thank the staff at Springbank Manor enough for their care and attention throughout the wedding planning and on the big day itself. They were all fantastic. A special mention to Blake who could not do enough for us and helped us so much during the months of planning. No request was too big, and he was on hand to advise at all times. The staff always made us feel welcome whether we were just visiting or attending our wedding meetings. They have been a huge part of our wedding. On the day itself, everything ran smoothly, there was always someone around to answer our questions, and Blake made the day feel effortless!
We would highly recommend Springbank Manor to any engaged couple. The venue is beautiful, the staff are amazing, and Blake is the best around. The food was amazing, everyone commented on how good it was, and if you’re considering canapes at Springbank Manor, definitely do it! We added on a few extras to our wedding package and we are glad we did.
