Cover Shoot at Hoghton Tower

Hoghton Tower is quite simply unique –
the perfect setting for your fairy tale wedding. Imagine a 16th Century Manor
House high on a hill, visited by King James I, William Shakespeare and Charles
Dickens. Hoghton Tower offers majestic and inspirational surroundings, is
available for exclusive use, and was the location for our incredible front
cover shoot.

With historical events just oozing
from every part of the castle, Hoghton Tower has a limitless amount of photo
opportunities both inside (such as the magnificent Banqueting Hall, where King
James I knighted the loin of beef ‘Sir Loin’) and outside with their enviable
collection of walled gardens and ancient woodland.

Some months ago, I had the idea to
recreate the infamous Jo Malone image where flowers seem to pour out from every
orifice of a car. The concept just captivated me, yet whereas theirs is a pretty pastel pink, I wanted a clean and
piercing white with an abundance of white
blooms. And so, the classic white Morris Minor was purchased, and months
of work began to make it shine! The geniuses at Red Floral Architecture brought
it to life, and our Little White Moggie has taken its rightful place on our
front cover.

Red Floral adorned the car with
thousands of flowers including gerberas,
gypsophila and stocks (which produce an aroma of freshly washed clothes
which was just incredible!)

Our two brides
were dressed by Emma Louise Bridal
and Lytham Bridal Boutique. On our front
cover, Laura wore Lillian West and Anita’s awesome jumpsuit is by Justin
Alexander, both provided by Lytham Bridal Boutique. Anita’s shoes are Meghan by
Charlotte Mills. To promote the Great Northern Wedding Show, Anita is wearing
Enzoani from Emma Louise Bridal.
