The Monastery
Manchester is a visually stunning wedding venue. We complemented the unique
world-class architecture of the Great Nave with a styled shoot which was
imposing yet impressive in equal measure. The results are breathtakingly
creative, producing a complimentary gothic masterpiece with such elegant
stature and grace.
The Church and Friary of St Francis at
Gorton, Manchester, was designed by Edward Pugin, and is now known as The
Monastery Manchester. It was deconsecrated when the Franciscans left in 1989
and derelict for many years until it was saved from ruin by local volunteers.
With a focus on conservation and restoration, the building offers an instant
feeling of deep peace and wonder. This is one spectacular wedding venue, come
and visit our free entry Wedding Show here on Sunday 29th March 2020.
Along Came Eve offer a fresh alternative to
traditional bridal shops with a thoughtfully curated
selection of designers and relaxed atmosphere. They believe that your Bridal
look should be an extension of your personality and making you feel like
the most elevated version of you. Their selection of gowns are timelessly
beautiful but unique with unusual fabrics, details and textures. Their looks
are seasonless and special, just like the Brides who wear them, with the latest
collections from Watters, Willowby, Rosa Clara, Enzoani, E & W Couture,
Jack Sullivan and Martina Liana. Every Bride benefits from a totally private
consultation with her Bride Tribe at her side and a member of their team on hand to
help every step of the way.
