Blush Pink and Silver Tones at our Beautiful Bartle Hall Wedding

Jennifer & Scott Rogers were married at Bartle Hall in November 2016. Thanks to photographer Mark Tattersall for their images.

Bartle Hall was only the second place
we looked around, however, we both got the initial gut feeling that this was
the place we wanted to get married, and so we booked our wedding around two and
a half years prior to the day. The staff at Bartle Hall were extremely friendly
and attentive in arranging our first appointment and really impressed us on the
initial meeting, answering all of our questions and even giving us suggestions
of things to consider in planning the big day.

Our main requirements when we were looking for our wedding venue were: somewhere picturesque for great photos, ideally in the countryside, somewhere large enough to accommodate over 100 guests, great food and drinks package and somewhere with a fabulous reputation. We concentrated our search in the Lancashire area as this is where we and our friends and family live.

The location of
Bartle Hall is idyllic, and the opportunity for us to have the venue
exclusively was a big plus. We loved the fact that there were two function
rooms available for us: The Windsor Suite where we selected to hold our
ceremony, and the Balmoral Suite where we later had our Wedding Breakfast and
reception.

We loved the vast amount of land and countryside views from the venue and knew that
these would make for fantastic photographs, no matter what the weather. We also
loved the stone wall in the Balmoral Suite
and thought that would be a perfect backdrop for the photographs of the
speeches.

Our wedding colours were silver grey
and blush pink for a winter theme. Flower Design styled the venue with amazing
flower pedestals, floral decoration for the table we registered at, candles and
petals for the aisle. They also did our table centrepieces, consisting of a
mixture of candelabras and tall flower bombs, which were stunning and matched
the colour themes perfectly, together with the bridal party bouquets and
buttonholes.

We also used Creative Cover Hire for
our chair covers, which we chose a blush sateen wrap, and a white carpet for
the aisle.

The team at Bartle Hall helped with
many of the finishing touches, including positioning our family wedding ladder,
where we displayed photos of our parents and
grandparents on their wedding day, and they also styled our sweetie
table for us. Nothing was too much trouble.

We spoke with
various members of the wedding team throughout the planning process of our
big day – after all, two and a half years in advance is quite a large time
span. We were impressed by how our wedding
details were kept by the venue and how seamless it was when speaking
with different members of the team, all of whom made us to feel like we weren’t
just another wedding. The knowledge and advice that they gave us on every
meeting with the venue styling, menu and
drink choices and ‘on the day timing’ always left us feeling confident
that everything would run smoothly.

On our wedding
day, all the staff were extremely friendly, and we would like to give a
special mention to Heather, our master of ceremonies, who was absolutely
fantastic and could not do enough for us.

Bartle
Hall was just perfect for our wedding day. What makes it stand out from the
crowd is the people who work there. I was
never in any doubt that everything was going to run perfectly and that I
could just sit back and relax.
