It’s no surprise that Autumn weddings are on the increase. Nature’s own palette simply
bursts with opulent bold shades, crisp days, beautifully glowing sunsets. This season gives you such a bounty of colours and textures that you can only be limited by your own imagination. Our styled shoot was created to celebrate the wealth of extravagance that Autumn has to offer, and to give you vast inspiration that will enhance your own Autumn wedding.
Venue: Bashall Barn is a beautifully converted barn situated on a working dairy farm deep in the heart of the Ribble Valley. A truly unique wedding venue, it has been recently extended to create the ‘Brook Room’ which is decorated in a clean, neutral colour scheme providing the perfect blank canvas for any wedding theme. Bi-folding doors open to reveal a spacious veranda providing an incredible outdoor dining and celebration space overlooking uninterrupted panoramic views
of the Ribble Valley countryside.
The Dress
Legend Bridal Designs have a simple philosophy; to produce a bespoke gown which captures the real essence of you and provides the perfect fit. Little White Books have worked with the
Legend team over many years and we are always in awe of their unique ideas and
designs. They fulfil every vision to create the wedding attire that dreams are made of. Legend also work with the best models – Ebony looks incredible with her striking floral crown and bespoke Legend gown – simply stunning in every way.
Flowers and Styling
Skelmersdale Flower Centre provided a kaleidoscope of strong Autumn textures and tones with succulent fruits and an abundance of flora including plum carnations, aubergine hydrangeas, crab apples, clementines, thalespi, rose hips, figs, viburnum berries, eucalyptus and artichokes – just WOW! They also designed a Firework table with chrysanthemums, carnations and a selection of leaves, grasses and bonsai branches. The attention to detail here is just unsurpassed.
The Cake
Multi-award-winning cake-pop maker Polka Pops provided our fabulous cakeball tower, complete with mini cakepop pumpkins which fitted in with our theme perfectly. The sumptuous
colours included burnt orange, ochre and russet, all sat on a bed of Autumn leaves and fruits.
Hair & Makeup
Hair was styled by Hair by Zoe at The Works and make up by Lucie MUA, both
super-talented bridal stylists and creators of Ebony’s amazing look. Zoe is experienced
in all aspects of creative hairdressing and delivered a style that was exuberant and bold. Lucie MUA is a professional freelance makeup artist who specialises in bridal makeup; Lucie’s combination of metallic shades on the eyes radiated warmth and were complemented perfectly with a sumptuous and rich lip colour.
Photography
Our photographer was Jack from Project Valentine. Jack is a modern, creative photographer with a quirky edge, so he was a natural choice to capture the diversity of this shoot. Jack
reflects the personal style of his couples throughout all his work with sheer enthusiasm, discovering unique photo opportunities with such a meticulous eye for detail.
