This evening I’d like to introduce you to the lovely lady behind Polka Pops.
‘I’m Amy Gilmore, mum of 3 gorgeous boys, Morgan, Sam, and Toby and wife to Dave a firefighter. I run my business,called Polka Pops, from my home. Polka Pops was born whilst i was on leave from my usual baking job of 10 years. I knew there was a gap in the market for wedding favour cake pops and my experience in baking and catering has helped me to perfect the art of cake ‘popping’.’
Amy’s creations are made in her kitchen in Ribchester, Lancashire. The cake for the pops comes in a variety of delicious flavours, with final designs ranging from simple and elegant floral and bride and groom designs, to animals and cartoon characters. Whatever you’re looking for, Amy makes it.
Amy recently exhibited at the Great Lancashire Wedding Show at Bolton Arena. Her creative flair extended to the decoration of her stand and she won our Best Dressed Stand award!
You can find Amy at the Little White Books Beeston Manor wedding fair on 7th September, and we’re delighted that she’s also returning to the Great Lancashire Wedding Show at Bolton Arena on 9th November.
