Nestled in the tranquil Lancashire countryside, we offer a quiet and idyllic venue, set away from the hustle and bustle yet easily accessible and just 5 minutes from the motorway. As you find yourself travelling down our rural country road you will be transported to the calm countryside where the white facade of The Crown welcomes you with open arms. Our traditional inn transforms into the perfect venue, with our upstairs boasting a large function suite to hold a formal wedding breakfast and downstairs has all the best a British public house can offer.
We provide that all important balance between a relaxed atmosphere but with all the formalities you could desire. The Crown dates back to the 1860s when we were known as The Crown Inn and many landlords have come and gone since then but we pride ourselves on respecting the history and sense of community that The Crown has cultivated over the centuries and we look forward to you becoming a part of our history.
