Located in Mobberley, the heart of rural Cheshire, Owen House Wedding Barn welcomes you to our family run venue, lovingly converted in 2013 the venue and the farm offer couples a totally exclusive, relaxed and unique countryside wedding.
The Wedding Barn is able to offer civil ceremonies in a separate room that is able accommodate 150 people whilst the wedding barn can seat upto 190 for the wedding breakfast and more for the evening reception. You are free to use all of the grounds for photographs, we have two paddocks with orchards, an outside patio area with speakers perfect for arrival drinks and a band, gardens with a flower covered pagoda and a covered barn for more photo’s. We also allow well behaved pets pre wedding breakfast.
We have two award winning caterers for you to choose from and both will be happy to work with you to ensure you find the perfect, bespoke menu for your big day. We have a fully stocked and staffed bar with a large selection of craft spirits, local micro brewery cask ale, american craft lagers and ales. We also offer the table wine at discounted prices and the venue bar prices are pub prices.
You will also be offered a wine tasting evening prior to your big day to help you choose your table wine and toasting drinks, we provide a food match and entertainment in the form of live music. It’s a great opportunity to see the barn again, ask the family any questions and also allows us to create your bespoke drinks package.
