Hello, name is Dionne and in 2022 I opened Oak and Peel in the lovely village of Chatburn. My goal is recreating real authentic wood fired pizza while fusing other crafts that I am very much accustomed to and create a casual vibe working from our 1950’s style Airstream trailer.
Before launching Oak and Peel I spent many years with my family where some are of Italian heritage learning techniques and the importance of proper dough as well as how to handle a wood-fired oven.
My passion was further elevated when I attended a week course with Marco Fuso and since then its been pizza time nearly everyday.
The core ingredients at Oak and Peel are imported from Italy to ensure authenticity and quality of flavour. We also use fresh local ingredients that are mainly supplied from a local supplier in Lancashire.
We continue to grow strength to strength learning as we go and perfecting our craft. I am available to speak to either over the phone or zoom/teams meetings to discuss your needs on how we can make your special day even more special and bring everyone together through of course…pizza.
