Ever since I was a kid I loved going to the movies. Movies are magical. They make you cry, they make you laugh and they trigger our emotions that still pictures struggle to. Your wedding film should bring out all the emotions of your big day. It should look cinematic, romantic and magical. It should not only tell the story of the day but it should also show the emotions of the day from the nervous wait at the alter to the reactions of the guests in the evening.
To create these films I feel it is always important to meet before the wedding to get to know you both and learn more about you both. It’s also a good chance to ask me any questions and learn about my style of filming and how I work. Your wedding is a very special occasion and as I will be filming from very early in the morning till late at night I want you to be comfortable with my presence.
On the wedding day myself and my wife, Sarah, work closely with the photographer so that we can all get the shots we need. Discrete microphones are used to capture perfect audio of speeches, vows, music and atmosphere. Should conditions allow I use the drone to get spectacular views of your wedding and reception venues. Starting early in the morning from the preparation to sundown and the dancing, you can be sure we will capture everything.
Each wedding feature is set to a unique soundtrack made up of music, speeches and sound effects carefully blended together. No two soundtracks will be the same. The final film will be edited and each clip carefully coloured to give you a true cinematic experience. Uploaded to a wedding webpage made especially for you the film can be viewed by whomever you wish.
If you have any questions we are always available for a chat. We often build such a great rapport with the couples that we stay in touch with them afterwards and see them again when their family and friends ask us to film their wedding.
