Green and white is a timeless choice for wedding styling, but The Garden Edit at The River Barn explores how adding earthy neutrals, textured floral arrangements, and natural elements like seasonal fruits and vegetables can bring extra depth and a subtle Mediterranean feel to the theme.

The River Barn provided the perfect setting for The Garden Edit; the venue offers a beautiful backdrop for couples looking to bring their wedding vision to life, whether that means understated styling, statement details, or a combination of the two.
Its character and surroundings allowed the shoot to feel natural and effortless while still leaving plenty of room for all other elements of the shoot to stand out.

The bridal styling feels classic and timeless with a little added drama! Bridalwear from Amelia’s Bridal was paired with accessories from Raven Millinery, creating a look that felt romantic, elegant and contemporary.
Hair and makeup by The Bridal Artist Co completed the look, keeping everything polished while allowing the dress and accessories to shine.
Against the earthy palette and natural styling, the traditional black tux from Jakes & Co added contrast and kept the overall look balanced. It’s a reminder that sometimes the simplest choices can have the biggest impact.

The finer details continued the theme, with a cake by Sara’s Cake Heaven and illustrations by Alex Shaw Designs adding their own creative touches to the overall concept. These elements helped bring the shoot together, showing how details beyond the flowers, outfits and tablescape can contribute to a cohesive wedding aesthetic.

Abbey at Petal Lane brought the concept to life, with textured arrangements complemented by seasonal fruits and vegetables woven into the design.
It was a fresh take on wedding styling, combining natural elements with considered details to create something that felt both classic and elevated.

The table pan took a less traditional approach, with guests’ seating details displayed amongst flowers planted inside Greek-style head sculptures. A sometimes overlooked part of the day became a feature in its own right, and another nod to Mediterranean design.

Our wedding car from Malvern Wedding Cars introduced another scene to the shoot, giving us a completely different backdrop to work with. It brought a real editorial feel to the images, and makes for some stunning couple shots.

If you’re looking for wedding inspiration that combines natural textures, earthy tones and classic details with a contemporary edge, The Garden Edit at The River Barn is full of ideas to take away for your own day.
