Classical Elegance – Kirk & Liam Taylor at Bolton School

Kirk & Liam Taylor tied the knot on 27^th August 2022 at Bolton School.

When looking for our perfect wedding venue we wanted somewhere elegant, somewhere with that WOW factor, but with a traditional feel. We specifically wanted a venue with wooden flooring throughout. Also, we didn’t want our families to have to travel too far for our wedding, so we mainly looked in the Bolton area.

We had been to Bolton School for a wedding back in 2013 and loved it – not only is the building amazing but the grounds are stunning too. Bolton School offered the space and elegance for what we had in mind in terms of décor and aesthetics, it really is so impressive, full of character and charm. When it came to photo opportunities the whole venue is fantastic – our photos look stunning.

We were shown around the venue by Adele, who then sold us the wedding of our dreams and discussed possible dates. She offered us a date we just couldn’t refuse, we booked it, then popped open the fizz! This was 13 months prior to our wedding date. We were then contacted by Laura, the wedding planner from Bolton School, who was amazing, a real asset to the events team. We discussed at length, on multiple occasions, about different ideas as I am very fussy. They were all so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble.

Our wedding styling was by Gingerbread Events. I didn’t want anything too crazy or colourful, I wanted to look back on our photographs and for them to still look timeless and classy in years to come. Gingerbread Events were amazing, they really delivered a truly spectacular wedding for us.

We can’t recommend Bolton School enough for a wedding venue. We even have our work Christmas party there as it feels wonderful just being there and takes us back to our special day.
