Hidden within the Forest of Bowland and just a short drive from the village of Chipping, you will find Bowland Tipis. Five tipis combine to create a beautiful, relaxed, countryside wedding venue that can host ceremonies and celebrations for up to 200 guests.
ON-SITE ACCOMMODATION
Bowland Tipis is also able to offer on-site accommodation for up to 80 guests with a bridal lodge with hot tub, luxury lodges sleeping 4 or 6 guests, shepherd’s huts, safari tents, camping pods and luxury glamping tents. This means that couples can claim exclusive use of the venue and on-site accommodation for their bridal party and wedding guests.
WOODLAND CEREMONY AREA
Perfect for those with an affinity for the outdoors, our fully licensed, woodland ceremony area offers couples the chance to exchange their vows within the Forest of Bowland.
If the weather is against us on the day, we are able to host ceremonies within our Ceremony Tipi, a setting which is equally as magical.
THE TIPIS
After tying the knot in the woodland ceremony area, couples and their guests can then make their way to our magical tipis.
Inside, guests will be greeted by rustic oak furniture, ambient fairy lights, hanging floral hoops, fire pits and even a chill out tent.
There’s wooden flooring throughout and the five tipis have a capacity for 150 seated and up to 200 evening guests.

We are delighted to have the incredibly talented, Cheek and Tongue, as our chosen catering and bar supplier at Bowland Tipis. Cheek and Tongue are a local supplier who can create bespoke, high-quality menus to suit individual needs and requirements.
So, whether you’d like to treat your guests to a traditional three-course meal, have a summer BBQ or maybe have a variety of street-food options, Cheek and Tongue will be able to deliver it and to the highest of standards.
They will also provide all couples with a complimentary tasting of their chosen menu ahead of their big day.

Thanks to our woodland location, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to photo opportunities.
Whether it’s down a secluded woodland path, being in the forest surrounded by beautiful pine trees or standing in the open fields overlooking the hills at the top of our estate, there are several options for backdrops when it comes to getting that perfect shot.
