A Groovy Autumn Vibe at Hobbit Hill

We absolutely loved spending a fun-filled day at the stunning Hobbit Hill venue, creating a groovy, 70s inspired styled shoot against the rolling countryside of the Ribble Valley. If you’re looking for a beautiful woodland setting for your special day, Hobbit Hill is the one for you!

Hobbit Hill offers a perfect rustic canvas suitable for all wedding themes, with ceremony spaces both inside and outside. This location could not have been better suited for our photoshoot, showcasing stunning floral styling by the amazing @amore_eventstylists. 1970’s styling was all about bold designs using primary and secondary colours, and Amore encapsulated this look perfectly, combining with subtle modern-day twists.

Our photographer @sarah_glynn_photography captured the fun and excitement of this shoot perfectly. Our bespoke stationery was created by @newcardsontheblock_, complementing the vibrant funky floral tone.

@sarascakeheaven created such a gorgeous three-tiered cake, with a soft pastel colourwash and bright pops of sugar flowers, all hand-made!

Our dresses by @yourdreamdressltd combined modern designs with a nod to our 70s retro look, and @ravenmillinery amplified this look excellently, through a selection of cool feminine headdresses, and the all-important flowers & ribbons in the hair.

The collaboration of the talented makeup artist @kerrybakermua and hair stylist @nikkiwebbmua accentuate the bride’s charm, with warm glowing looks, which remain elegant with a modern touch.

@jakesandco perfectly styled our groom, in a collection of refined suits including tweed and earthy tones, which emphasise the swatch of the whole shoot.
