West Tower is a romantic hideaway dedicated entirely to
weddings and located in Aughton, Ormskirk overlooking the beautiful Lancashire
countryside.
The 10 acres of gardens and grounds offer an abundance of
outdoor photo opportunities from the wishing well to the steps leading up to
the house, the beautifully matured trees or the hidden walkway through the
bluebells.
The classic ivory walls and beautiful chandeliers of our
elegant Ballroom with solid wooden floors, full length windows and majestic
mirrors suits all wedding day themes.
Our state-of-the-art Cristal Suite offers the opportunity
to arrive from 8am on the morning of your wedding to begin your exciting
preparations.
Ceremony Room/ Function Suite
Our striking Ballroom is at the
heart of every West Tower wedding. As one of the most exciting wedding venues in
the North West, our main space boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with far
reaching views over the Lancashire countryside and beyond. Its neutral wooden
floors, ivory walls and delicate chandeliers lend themselves perfectly to any
colour scheme or wedding style.
The Leather Lounge is a cosy haven away from it all. With
enticing leather armchairs in front of the open fire, enjoy a moment of calm
and tranquillity away from the dance floor or savour a nightcap before bedtime.
With ample space for live music, the rustic Cellar Bar
with doors opening to the terrace outside, is where welcome drinks and canapés are served and is the perfect place
to get the party started!
Our wedding Pagoda is an option for those who would like
to get married in the great outdoors.
Special Features
The state-of-the-art dressing room the Cristal Suite, new
in 2019, allows you the time and space to get ready with your bridal party in
style and comfort. With plenty of natural daylight, comfy couches and
uninterrupted views of the fields beyond, it’s the perfect place for your final
preparations.
We offer
27 guest bedrooms in addition to the majestic bridal suite allowing the bridal
couple and 65 of your guests to stay overnight.
Food & Drink
The food and drink served on your wedding day is one of
the most important parts of your special day, and we want your guests to leave
West Tower remembering the exquisite dining and exceptional service.
Our talented chefs use only the finest locally sourced
ingredients freshly prepared especially for you on the morning of your wedding. The options are endless, from
delicious starters to inspirational main courses and lavish desserts.
Evening food options include a selection of light bites
such as Beer Battered Fish and Chip Cones, Sun Blushed Tomato & Mozzarella
Bruschetta or Pepperoni Pizza Rolls in addition to
an evening BBQ or Hog Roast.

When the sun shines, we know you’ll want to make the most
of the ten acres of grounds at West Tower offering an endless selection of
breath-taking backdrops for your wedding photos making memories that will last
a lifetime!
Of
course, if the weather allows, there’s no need to go inside after dark. We
believe that lighting is as important outside as in and our down-lighters
