In Wedding Cake trends we’re currently seeing an abundance of
textured finishes, drip effect and strong colours making a bold, fun statement
in wedding cakes, yet at the same time soft muted tones, marbling effects and intricate
sugar flowers on simple, clean line cakes are equally as popular.
Our previously predicted cake trends of
2020 are coming to fruition, including geometric shapes, abstract designs and
towering multi-tier creations. Perhaps what’s more prevalent though, is the
sheer diversity of styles and finishes you can choose from. Now your wedding
cake can really mirror your themes, individuality and personalities, so more
than ever before, the phrase to remember is ‘Anything Goes!’
We
invited a selection of our cake makers along to The Wellbeing Farm to showcase
their current favourite creations.
Huge thanks to our photographer Mick Cookson
(www.mickcooksonphotography.co.uk) for these fantastic images and working with
us on this project. Thanks also to The Wellbeing Farm for being our incredible
backdrop! If you’d like more information on getting married at The Wellbeing
Farm, please visit their website www.thewellbeingfarm.co.uk to find out more.
It’s a perfect party venue within a beautiful rural setting – well worth a
visit when you’re wedding venue hunting!
And all our cake makers who were part of this shoot, thanks to:
