SPRING

Follow the sweeping driveway through the ancient woodland
and witness the splendour of the snowdrops or the daffodils in full bloom as
you alight to the sound of the birds singing.
The groundsmen at Samlesbury have been busy preparing the spring bulbs
as a beautiful backdrop for your very special wedding photographs. If there is still a chill in the air you will
enter the beautiful rooms to lit fires, to be met by their liveried staff
offering reception drinks and canapés of your choosing.

The experienced team at Samlesbury will be delighted to
introduce you to local florists and venue dressers who will further enhance the
new season with the freshest blooms. For
dinner, choose from their fabulous menu of locally sourced fresh produce.

For your guests’ accommodation, do not forget the Shepherd’s
Huts are luxury, fully heated, power shower en-suites with memory foam
mattresses to guarantee your guests will have a fitting end to a perfect day.

shining and at Samlesbury you now have the opportunity to host the most
wonderful al fresco wedding. Make your
menu a memorable modern one and choose bowl food, or why not enjoy something
extra delicious from their marvellously quirky street food shack? Would you like your guests to build their own
burger? Or why not sample their tacos
and kebabs? Maybe you wish to give your
evening guests freshly made pizzas of with your toppings of choice from their
wood-fired pizza oven in the courtyard.
With enough notice, you can even eat outside on the fabulous festoon lit
tennis lawn complete with marquee for outside activities.

Drinks on the lawn follow your ceremony, and afterwards,
Samlesbury’s bar is fully stocked with all your favourites and licensed until

AUTUMN

As the nights begin to draw in and the leaves on the trees
surrounding the Hall turn to red and gold – why not consider autumn at
Samlesbury? For a wedding breakfast
never to be forgotten, dine on a sumptuous medieval banquet or even a hog
roast. The roaring open fires are a
welcoming sight – unless of course we have an Indian Summer, which extends your
outdoor festivities!

Glamping in the Shepherd’s Huts isn’t just for sunny summer
days; the central heating makes for a super toasty stay which will keep your
guests extra cosy, together with the option of toasting marshmallows on the
fire pits…

WINTER

The crispness of a frosty morning; the soft crunch of
freshly fallen snow underfoot; the warmth of log fires and smell of mulled
wine; the romantic candlelit rooms; the sparkly real Christmas trees inside the
Hall and out – when all this is to hand, why on earth would you ever opt for a
Summer wedding…!

“Having booked our wedding for next September, my fiancé and
I decided to come to the wedding opening evening and stay in one of the Shepherd
huts. The whole evening was magical – all the staff were faultlessly friendly.
The menu tasting was incredible – such delicious food, we are absolutely
spoiled for choice.

The shepherd’s huts were lovely and toasty, despite the
horrific weather outside. The beds were so comfortable we barely had time to
chat before we were off in a deep sleep.”
