Rocking
the Boho Look –
the story behind our latest front cover and the Great Northern Wedding Show
We created a
styled wedding shoot which featured a bride & groom who each had their own individual style that didn’t
necessarily conform with a ‘traditional’ wedding image. A bride that was just
as comfortable in her Converse as she was her Christian Louboutins, and
a groom who was just as much an integral part of the styling as his bride; what with his vintage car, just about to
whisk them away on their honeymoon, and not forgetting Man’s Best Friend…
who was, in this case, Coco!
We wanted a location which was rich in rural & rustic
charm and opted for the beautiful Lancashire Village of
Sawley, complete with its very own Abbey Ruins. Red Floral Architecture created
gorgeous backdrops combining cascading bouquets with flowing organic greenery,
all expertly blended into the surrounding countryside.
Our
wedding gown was part of the Ivory & Co Separates Collection, very much on
trend with stunning bodices and separate skirts allowing brides to find the perfect
mix and match combination. Bridalwear by Emma Louise provided our gown and
completed the Boho look with a selection of boleros creating a soft, feminine
style.
Finally, our model’s look was perfected
by makeup artist Kerry Baker and hair stylist Carly Ryan.
