Epic fantasy themed wedding – Lauren & Jack at Hobbit Hill

Lauren & Jack were married at Hobbit Hill on 12th April 2025.

When looking for a wedding venue we wanted an outdoor ceremony space and a venue with accommodation so that our close family and friends could stay with us.

Most of our family live in the north west so we concentrated our search in this area.

We wanted our wedding theme to be Lord of the Rings, so it only made sense to look for venues that matched with the theme. We had seen Hobbit Hill online and the name obviously drew us to go to view it. Hobbit Hill was the one and only venue we viewed because as we drove up the drive, we just knew this was the one for us. The picturesque setting, the beautiful barn style venue and outdoor forest ceremony space completely sold it for us – it was literally perfect for us.

We had lots of photos in the forest and also the swing made a nice space to take photos but to be honest, every part of Hobbit Hill is perfect for photos because the backdrop is just stunning.

We booked Hobbit Hill two years in prior to our wedding date. The team there were absolutely incredible from start to finish and so accommodating for all our needs, nothing was too much to ask. They helped in anyway they could. We felt like ourselves and all of our guests were looked after, from arriving the night before, to leaving the day after the wedding. Everyone told us how incredible the venue and staff were. Thank you so much guys!

For our styling we used Amore Event Stylists for the larger displays, but did the rest ourselves, such as the table decorations. Using Amore was a slightly last-minute addition, but the team were amazing and we were so glad we used them as they just made the venue look perfect. We had them style the pergola outside and, luckily for us, we had beautiful weather, but it put our minds at ease knowing the team were ready to move everything to the indoor ceremony space for us should the weather change. It was one less thing to stress about.
